This is the Novation Supernova and is in my opinion the best synth out on the market right now.

This is the Roland JP-8080. I have one myself and like it, although there are a few problems i see with it, it is overall an awesome synth! Phat arpeggiator!

The Virus is also another phat synth, it beats the jp-8080 in the fact that the 8080 only has 2 timbers (meaning only 2 MIDI channels and 2 different sounds at once).

Here is a pic of a sampler. The EMU 6400 is perhaps one of the best samplers out on the market right now. A little expensive but well worth the price if you are into sampling.
